Description
Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare Blue Label Port Dundas is a limited expression from Johnnie Walker’s ultra-premium Ghost & Rare series — drawing on whisky from the demolished Port Dundas Distillery in Glasgow as the ‘ghost’ component, presenting the ultra-premium Blue Label framework with the ethereal addition of grain whisky from Scotland’s most significant now-demolished urban grain distillery.
Port Dundas was one of Scotland’s largest grain whisky distilleries, operating in Glasgow from 1811 until its demolition in 2010. As a demolished distillery, its remaining whisky stocks are finite and irreplaceable. The Ghost & Rare format draws on this finite stock in a limited Blue Label-quality blended Scotch.
