Willett Pot Still Reserve comes from Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in Bardstown — a five-generation family craft distillery with a lineage dating to the 1930s, using a wheated mashbill and 8–10 years of aging in the immediately recognizable pot still-shaped bottle. Blanton’s Original comes from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort — the world’s first single barrel bourbon at 93 proof, using the high-rye Mash Bill #2. Side by side they illustrate how two different production traditions produce two entirely different characters from Kentucky’s best barley, corn, and water.
