W.L. Weller Special Reserve is the original wheated bourbon — substituting wheat for rye as the secondary grain for an exceptionally smooth, soft, sweet profile. Bottled at 90 proof by Buffalo Trace. This is the 1L format.

Named for William Larue Weller, credited as among the first to use wheat as the secondary grain in straight bourbon.
