A special presentation of Suntory’s signature blended Japanese whisky honoring three decades of the Hibiki expression with the distinctive Kacho (“flowers and birds”) seasonal artistry and Mount Fuji imagery.

Hibiki was launched by Suntory in 1989 as a blended Japanese whisky expression — combining malt whisky from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from the Chita distillery in a blend designed to embody the Japanese concept of harmony (hibiki means “resonance” or “echo”). Three decades later, the 30th Anniversary edition marks the expression’s evolution from a relatively niche Japanese domestic product to one of the world’s most celebrated and collected blended whiskies.

The Kacho artistry references the traditional Japanese aesthetic of kacho-ga — paintings of flowers and birds that have been a central motif in Japanese art since the Heian period. Hibiki’s iconic 24-faceted bottle (representing the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar) provides the canvas for this seasonal artistry. Mount Fuji — Japan’s most iconic natural landmark and a symbol of spiritual aspiration in Japanese culture — connects the 30th Anniversary presentation to the deepest roots of Japanese aesthetic tradition.
