Description
The same award-winning Hibiki 17 Year liquid — multi-cask blended Japanese whisky from Suntory’s Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries — in a rare limited edition 700ml bottle adorned with chrysanthemum and crane designs.
Hibiki 17 Year was one of Suntory’s most celebrated ongoing expressions before its discontinuation in 2018. A blend of aged malt whiskies from Yamazaki and Hakushu combined with Chita grain whisky, matured in American oak, Spanish oak, and Mizunara Japanese oak, it won multiple World Whisky of the Year and Best Blended Whisky designations across its production run.
The Chrysanthemum & Crane Limited Edition presents this liquid in a distinctive 700ml bottle decorated with chrysanthemum flowers and crane motifs — two of Japan’s most powerful symbolic images. The chrysanthemum is Japan’s imperial flower, associated with longevity and rejuvenation. The crane is a symbol of good fortune, longevity, and fidelity in Japanese culture. Together they make this one of the most visually distinctive Hibiki presentations. Since Hibiki 17 Year was discontinued in 2018, all remaining stock — including limited edition presentations — is finite and irreplaceable.
