Joven. Casa Dragones — a small batch blend of silver and extra añejo tequila from Casa Dragones in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, founded by Bertha González Nieves — the world’s first female Maestra Tequilera certified by the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila.

Casa Dragones was established in 2009 with a specific mission: to produce ultra-premium artisan tequila focused on sipping rather than mixing, in small batches that allow each release to maintain exceptional consistency. The Joven — Spanish for ‘young’ — blends the fresh, agave-forward character of unaged silver tequila with the rounded complexity of extra añejo in a proprietary ratio that produces the signature smooth, sweet, and complex profile that made Casa Dragones internationally recognized.

The tequila is double-distilled in small stainless steel pot stills rather than the stainless column stills used in most commercial tequila production, retaining more agave character and producing the silky, clean texture that defines the house style.
