Blanton’s Special Reserve Red Label is the Japanese export expression — single barrel, Mash Bill #2, Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace, bottled at 80 proof in a 750ml format and aged an additional 2 years compared to the Original. The lighter proof reveals more of the mature aged character — citrus, vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch with baking spice, all more delicate and refined than the 93-proof Original.
