Description
The Hibiki 12 Year multi-cask blended whisky from Suntory in the rare Kacho Fugetsu limited edition presentation — a 24-facet bottle bearing the beauty of Japanese nature through its seasonal design.
Hibiki 12 Year was one of Suntory’s entry-level expressions in the Hibiki blended whisky family before its discontinuation. A blend of malt whiskies from Yamazaki and Hakushu with Chita grain whisky, matured in a combination of casks and hand-assembled to represent the harmony (“Hibiki” means harmony in Japanese) that defines the series.
The Kacho Fugetsu — a Japanese aesthetic concept meaning “the beauty of nature and the changing seasons” — refers to the appreciation of nature’s beauty: flowers (ka), birds (cho), wind (fu), and moon (getsu). The limited edition bottle design brings this philosophy to life with nature-inspired artwork and the signature 24-facet design representing the 24 sekki micro-seasons of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar. Since Hibiki 12 Year was also discontinued, all remaining Kacho Fugetsu stock is finite.
