XO (Extra Old) is the top designation in the standard Cognac quality ladder, requiring a minimum of ten years aging for the youngest eaux-de-vie in the blend. All three houses in this bundle are from the Cognac appellation in southwest France, but each brings a fundamentally different blending philosophy and house style. Hennessy XO, created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy as a private blend for friends and family, is blended from over 100 eaux-de-vie from the four premier crus of Cognac. Rémy Martin XO is produced exclusively from Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie — the two most prestigious growing zones — for a more floral, fruit-forward character. D’USSÉ XO is produced at Château de Cognac, one of the oldest distilleries in the region, with a fuller body and more structured profile.

Hennessy Cognac XO 750ml — 40% ABV. A blend of over 100 eaux-de-vie from the premier crus of Cognac. Floral, fruity nose with candied fruit and jasmine; rich and full on the palate with dark chocolate, spice, leather, and a long, warm finish. Created in 1870 as a private family blend.

D’USSÉ Cognac XO 750ml — 40% ABV. Produced at Château de Cognac, aged a minimum of 10 years. Fuller-bodied and more structured — dried fig, plum, dark chocolate, toasted oak, and warm spice with a long, polished finish.

Rémy Martin Cognac XO Excellence 750ml — 40% ABV. Exclusively Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie. More floral and fruit-forward than the other two — fresh fruit, vanilla, iris, and honey with a long, elegant finish. The Fine Champagne designation confirms the highest-quality growing zone blend.
