The Reposado is the expression that established Clase Azul’s reputation. Sourced from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco — where altitude, volcanic soil, and cooler temperatures produce agave with greater sugar concentration and more complex flavor than lowland agave — the tequila is aged 8 months in American white oak. The aging period is deliberately calibrated: long enough to add vanilla, caramel, and gentle wood spice, but not so long that the agave’s natural fruity and floral brightness is obscured. The result is one of the most balanced reposado expressions at any price point.

Each ceramic decanter is hand-painted by artisans in Santa María Canchesda, Guerrero — making every Clase Azul Reposado bottle individually unique. The ceramic stopper, the hand-applied paint, and the artisan finish mean no two bottles are exactly alike. The decanter is widely repurposed as a decorative vessel after the tequila is finished.
